We are a young Couple Lisa (27) and Phillip (30). We live Bergisch Gladbach, which is close by Cologne.
We have one Cat called Murphy who likes to be around people, cuddle and play.

We are still looking for an exchange partner within Europe for summer 2024!
Our Apartment is in the City Bergisch Gladbach- Bensberg, which is close by the big City Cologne (20-30 minutes drive).
Since our Streetname is "German: Schlosstraße/ English: Castlestreet" of course we are very close by a real Castle (5minutes walking). It's a 5 Star Castle Hotel and very pretty. From the Castle Area you have a nice view to see Cologne.
Our Apartment has four Rooms: Livingroom, Dressingroom, Workspace/Freetime-, room, Bedroom) + Kitchen and Corridor. We are about to get a new second Bed in our Guestroom/Workspace so please do not be confused where the second Bedroom is. We will have space for 4 people very soon.
Outside we have a big sunny balcony with a nice sitting area, flowers and a herb and vegetable garden.
We have Trainstation and a Bus Stop in walking distance (3minutes) away from our home. You can go with the public transportations to a lot of popular places around our City Bergisch Gladbach and the next bigger City Cologne. The Train drives every 10 minutes and drives also during the night.
It's the first time we do Home exchange with our own Apartment. Lisa is used to do Home Exchange with her family since she is a child (15 times). Lisa loves the Experience Home exchange and traveled to a lot of different Countrys with her Family (USA, Spain, Irland, England and lot more..)

In our Neighborhood you have a lot of Restaurants, Shopping Stores, Supermarkets, Ice Cream Store, Bakery, Trainstation, Forest. Every Thursday we have local Market in front of our House (Flowers, Vegetables, Cheese from the Netherlands and lots of more).

We have a Cinema directly in our Street. It's only 5 minutes walking away. There are several shops, supermarkets and boutiques on our street. Close by our Apartment is a very nice Spa/Wellness Resort called Mediterana (2km). Mediterana is famous to be one of the greatest Spa-Resorts in Europe. Ice skating rink is also nearby and just 2km away. If you like walking, we have a beautiful Sea called "Saaler Mühle" in our Town. The Mountains "Siebengebirge" and"Eifel" are ideal for hiking and Wintersport. The "Eifel" is popular for historical castles and wonderful nature parks. The beautiful River „Rhein“ is only 20 minutes drive away and easily reachable. Close by the Rhein you can find a long Riverbank with restaurants, skateparks, boats and beach bars. Another pleasing attraction might be "Phantasialand", a very popular amusement park (30 min. by car). City Trips are also very easy to reach by car or Train (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium). The culturally interesting cities Cologne and Bonn afford a very large offer of sights, museums, shipping, concerts, theatre, opera, parks, shopping malls, gastronomies etc. When the weather is nice, our large terrace with our gas grill invites you to relax.
